Editorial Mentorship Program (2026–2027)”

This two-year mentorship initiative provides early-career academic clinicians with an exceptional opportunity to gain direct experience in the editorial and publishing process. Under the mentorship of a Senior Editor, participants will learn how to assess, prioritize, and improve submitted manuscripts. They will also attend editorial board meetings and take responsibility for managing at least two manuscripts through the full review and publication workflow.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should be healthcare professionals or scientists under the age of 40, holding at least an assistant professor (or equivalent) appointment. Candidates must also have a minimum of two first-author publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Programme Details
  • Duration: Two years, commencing January 2026

  • Number of positions: 1–2 participants

  • Mentorship: Quarterly meetings with a designated Editorial Board member

  • Editorial Experience: Participate in the co-review of at least two manuscripts and contribute to manuscript evaluation and refinement under supervision

  • Engagement: Attend quarterly QOLAC Medicine editorial board meetings online

Upon Completion
  • May be considered for inclusion in the QOLAC Medicine Editorial Board

  • Eligible to earn 2 CME points per completed review

  • Receive a certificate of completion from QOLAC Medicine
